It takes a certain brash maturity for a teenage boy to convincingly play Ben Mendelson’s bratty son. But that’s exactly what Lincoln Younes achieved with the role of the troubled high school rebel Romeo in the acclaimed and AFI Award winning television series Tangle.
Now Lincoln has joined that large and growing group of Australian actors who’ve honed their craft and raised their profiles via homegrown soaps. In this case, Lincoln is playing Casey Braxton in Channel 7’s Home and Away.
After completing his final year of high school and NIDA’s ‘A Young Actor’s Studio,’ Lincoln landed the role of Romeo on Tangle. From there, he has gone on to star alongside Isabel Lucas and Josh Lawson in the Australian feature The Wedding Party and has made guest appearances on the popular crime drama, City Homicide.
